Important Voting Information for Branch 254 Members
The 2026 NALC national officer election is being conducted by mail ballot. Eligible members should watch their mail for their ballot and follow the official instructions included with the ballot. NALC
Key Dates
📬 Ballot Mailing: Ballots may be mailed as early as September 18 and mailing will be completed by September 28.
📭 No Ballot? If you are eligible and have not received your ballot by October 5, contact the National Election Committee to request a replacement.

Regular NALC members in good standing as of June 1, 2026 are eligible to vote. National business agents are elected by members in their respective regions. NALC

Recap: CLC Slate & Presidential Candidate James Henry Visit Allentown
On Sunday, May 3rd, NALC members from across the Lehigh Valley gathered at Branch 274 to hear from the Concerned Letter Carriers (CLC) campaign team. The event featured a lineup of leaders committed to a new direction for the NALC.
Bill Kriebel, President of Branch 254 and candidate for Region 12 NBA, opened the session with a focus on restoring regional transparency and education [02:10]. Bill emphasized his commitment to fighting for "Table 2" carriers and ensuring that every branch, no matter the size, has access to the grievance assistance they deserve [04:00].
The meeting also featured:
James D. Henry (Candidate for National President) on the fight for a true living wage and abolishing the two-tier wage system [19:10].
David J. Grosskopf (Candidate for National Trustee) on financial accountability and union transparency [12:45].
John Cruz (Candidate for National Trustee) on the importance of putting the membership first [14:45].

Saturday, May 9: Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!
The NALC Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is this Saturday! As letter carriers, we see the needs in our community every day, and this is our chance to come together and stock our local food pantries.
How You Can Help: It’s simple! Just leave a bag of non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, cereal, etc.) next to your mailbox before your mail is delivered on Saturday, May 9. Your letter carrier will do the rest!

Congratulations to F. Ahmad, D. Hinkle, L. Macdonald, and E. Gilbert for receiving 25, 30 and 40 years NALC pins
It is with profound sadness and grief, that we inform you, that one of our dearest brothers, coworker and friend Tim Boscoe Passed away Today. He worked for more than 30 years in the Post Office.
He was a humble man, a quiet, soft and hard-working person. He was loved by his customers and all the coworkers. He never had any trouble with anyone in the Post Office. He was always willing to help others. Tim had a heart of gold . Tim was the best quoit player in town and everyone wanted to be his partner.
He was an army veteran and a good human being he will be missed.
Prayers are requested that God, the Almighty, may exalt his status and grant him a lofty place in Paradise, Amen
Please also pray for the bereaved family and his wife Robin that God may grant them solace and patience to bear this loss with fortitude
